It's a New Year and January looks like this - a new collection - and some of these and a couple of variations have already been submitted to Uppercase Magazine in the hope of appearing in their Surface Pattern Design Guide. Wish me luck!
How it all started:
A Makes Art That Sells brief for a bolt fabric design/collection, the subject: Vintage 'Pyrex' and peppers. Of course that lead to a myriad of motifs, or icons as Lilla refers to them, which lead to the array of designs you see above.
First came the 'Pasta & Peppers' design with some more colour variations and then the co-ordinates, and there are more to come. As for the 'Proper Coffee Pots' they are gaining a life of their own ...maybe another collection has already been born!
